Then send proof of payment to infospe2016@gmail.com, together with billing information (name and VAT number). SPE associated members should state it on the email, attaching to the email the registration form (for new members) and the transfer confirmation of payment of the membership fee.

 

Receipts will be handed during the conference.

 

 

Registration includes lunches and coffee breaks during the two days of the conference (menu options will be indicated later).

 

Students should also attach a document attesting to their student status.

 

Registration costs:

 

       Until July 31st:

        - SPE regular members: 40€

        - SPE associate members (e.g., students): 20€

        - Non student: 80€

        - Student: 50€

        - Bachelor Student: 20€ *

 

 

        After July 31st:

        - SPE regular members: 50€

        - SPE associate members (e.g., students): 30€

        - Non student: 90€

        - Student: 60€

        - Bachelor Student: 20€ *

        Note: Late registration, after October 3rdth, is possible but

        may not appear in the abstract book and may not include meals.

 

        * Special fee for Bachelor Students, with 30 places available. After fulfillment of all 30 places,

the Student fee applies.

 

 

 

Reimbursements:

 

        - 100% if asked until September 15th

        - 50% if asked until September 30th

        - No reimbursement for later cancellations

 

Joining SPE: consider membership in SPE! In addition to lower registration costs in congresses, membership in SPE gives access to the scientific journal of SPE, acta ethologica and to participate in the managing of the Society. Instructions to join SPE are here (in Portuguese).

 

If you are already a member you should pay the fee correspondent to the current year (30€ for effective members and 20€ for associates) through bank transfer to Sociedade Portuguesa de Etologia (NIB: 0033 0000 00010413427 32 , bank: Millennium bcp) and send transfer confirmation to tesouraria.spe@gmail.com

 

 Submissions

 

The deadline to submit abstracts is July 31st.

 

Abstracts should be sent by email to infospe2016@gmail.com, with the title "Abstract SPE2016". Include the following information:

   - Title of the communication.

      - Name and institutions of the authors (including e-mail), and which author gives the presentation.

   - Abstract (maximum 200 words).

   - Preferred format (talk or poster).

 

The title and abstract should be written in English. Authors will receive an email in the beginning of Septmeber indicating whether their abstract was accepted and in which format. Final acceptance of communications depends on the presenting author having registered for the congress.
